I feel that I have a very rational fear of Islam, and I am not alone: Christians in Pakistan and Nigeria and East Timor and other parts of Indonesia, Hindus in Mumbai and India generally, Buddhists in Burma and Atheists in China, all can join me in rational Islamophobia. So also can financial workers in downtown Manhattan, and commuters in London, and marathon enthusiasts in Boston, we have all justification for a very tangible fear of the Islam in our midsts.
