I feel that being a transgender woman is like being a siren. You are this creature that is attractive, seductive, that tends to enchant most people who come in contact, but you are deadly. There is something about you that is different, dangerous, something that is inevitably going to put a man into a complicated situation. It’s hard for me to deal with that feeling because even though I am a siren, I feel as if I want a genuine exchange. Inevitably, I am going to have to tell someone my secret.
