I feel the need to celebrate a huge success in my husbands life. When I met my pizza boy 15ish years ago I knew he was something special. He was (and still is) a hard worker, full of passion and love, and a magnet to my heart. The only fear I had when we started dating was that I could possibly be cheated time on this earth with him because he was a smoker. And not just an every-now-and-again smoker; he was an 18 years and counting kind of smoker. I knew no matter how badly we all wanted him to quit, it was ultimately his choice. It has now been more than a year since he willingly said goodbye and hasnt looked back. What a gift he has given his family and himself. What a powerful struggle he endured. My heart goes out to anyone who has to fight such an addiction. So cheers to a New Years resolution that was never intended to be one. You are a hell of a man, Jason Bedingfield. Im beyond proud of you.
