I felt happy for once today in many, many months, I smiled and laughed a lot today. My granddaughter Sydney Leann Puckett asked me to go with het and her mama Carla Reeser today to have her makeup done for her fall formal tonight, we went to Merle Normans, I had the best of time with my girls and those ladies at Merle Normans the actually thought Sydney was my daughter to, I loved it. We laughed and cut up a lot in that store. It felt good to laugh again and not cry, I am even starting to talk more about Burch now without crying, but I still do have my days, I have been reading a lot about grief and I do believe it.is helping me a lot, some say I may need grief counseling but I have prayed a lot about this and I have come to the decision that Jesus is going to be my healer not a therapist. I was so worried about something happening at home that I could not fix, u married women who have a husband to fix everything around the house when something needs fixing, never take that for granted always thank your partner and tell them how much you appreciate them, just the little things like taking out the garbage, changing a light bulb etc. You will miss it one day, Burch did everything like that around the house. I had thought about selling my home and renting a home, my daughters told me no. But anyway I had a water pipe to break and my son in law Clinton Reeser was here to fix it. Thank you so much Clinton, you no I will be depending on you a lot, I sure hope u dont care. Thank you Jeannie Puckett for keeping Maddie and Kinsley so I could spend time with Sydney. I love all of you so much that words cannot say, you all are what I am living for now, so everyone pray for me and all the others that have lost loved ones this year and in the past to get through the holiday season without our loved ones who have gone on before us. I know for a fact Burch will be having a feast for thanksgiving and the best Christmas he had never experienced before. Sydney, have a wonderful time tonight and always remember I love you.
