Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013 Returning high pressure has brought much cooler air to Central Florida. As this high shifts eastward, onshore developing winds moderate temperatures back to normal by the weekend. These winds may also bring a few showers to the coastline. This morning, clear skies and northwest winds allowed temperatures to drop into the 30s for most of the region. Even with more sunshine, temperatures will struggle to get into the 60s later today. Developing northeast winds will be breezy, sustained to 15 mph. Daytime highs will reach the mid to upper 60s for most. Tonight, continued onshore winds warm temperatures. Expect partly cloudy skies and an isolated shower or two near the coast. Lows will drop into the upper 40s and lower 50s, with upper 50s in Brevard County. Tomorrow, breezy onshore winds continue. This keeps a small shower chance near the coast and also moderates temperatures. Daytime highs will reach the low to mid 70s. This weekend, a similar weather pattern stays in place. Continued onshore flow allows isolated showers near the coast and brings temperatures back to or above normal. The next storm system approaches early next week increasing rain chances across Central Florida.
