I figure Ill post my whole story on Facebook for the world to see how horrible Chrysler is. I bought my 2013 dodge dart in late 2012 expecting not an amazing car but something that could at least be driven reliably.. very shortly after (within the first few weeks) I began noticing the clutch pedal feeling strange.. after 30k+ miles of fighting with the dealer (whose rep apparently told them not to look at my car because it was modified) I went to another dealer who found that the clutch master cylinder needed replacement which is completely unrelated to any modifications.. now.. furthermore.. throughout that 30k+ mile period of time my brake fluid reservoir had dropped a few times and needed to be refilled.. there was air in the line and it caused not only clutch operation problems but also some grinding and stiffness in my transmission. At this point it is at the point where in neutral the shifter almost doesnt want to move.. it has to be moved very hard and still no gear is smooth.. and even more recently within 5000 miles or so of the clutch master replacement I lost 6th gear.. this was about 2 weeks ago.. and then a few days ago I went to shift into 5th and it was gone as well.. every other gear seems to be functioning (with the same stiffness as it had due to the lack of proper repair before). So to sum it all up. Dont buy cars from them without knowing what youre getting yourself into. They did everything they could to put off replacing anything under warranty. And now I am going to be without a transmission.. which they will also likely try not to warranty as well. Shady company.
