I finally heard from my younger daughter today. She is apparently missing the Virginia weather since it is 30 to 40 degrees there. Her weather app apparently has misinformed her of temps being in the 50 - 60s there. She is also rooming with an African girl from Saint Elizabeth, who is obviously a native and used to the climate, because she likes to open the windows to let the cold air in to dry her underwear and socks. Abbey said, They probably will freeze before they dry! She also informed us that these people of South Africa take the world cup very seriously...more seriously than US football fans during the Super Bowl. She was informing us this as she was up past midnight watching the Netherlands VS Argentina game. When Argentina won, Abbey said, I believe everyone in the building is probably up now after that cheering. I have to laugh at her because she has that dry humor that I find funny.
