I find it Tragic that as Nelson Mendela, the greatest champion of our time, who spent 27 years in prison for fighting to put an end to Apartheid (an official policy of racial segregation formerly practiced in the Republic of South Africa, involving political, legal, and economic discrimination against nonwhites), lay on his death bed ...... While here in the U.S., our Supreme court decided To "Kill" the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (enacted July 2, 1964), a landmark piece of civil rights legislation in the United States that outlawed major forms of discrimination against racial, ethnic, national and religious minorities, and women. It ended unequal application of voter registration requirements and racial segregation in schools, at the workplace and by facilities that served the general public. What A Sad And Tragic Period In Time All Around Our World. God Help Us!!!
