I find the common practice in Qatar of people pulling up in front of the grocery store and then honking for someone to attend to them to be very annoying. The person in the car actually wastes his own time because he has to make the shopkeeper run three times, first to take the order, second to make the delivery and third to tender the change. Of course the shop keeper also wastes his time and he is not able to attend to his other customers. Its most annoying when I take the effort to get out of my car to make a purchase and am forced to wait just because some other person has started honking outside. The worst case is when the person in the car gets agitated over waiting and then starts shouting. People, please park your car, get out, take what you want, pay for it and then leave... This was posted 6 years ago and still a common sight in Qatar. Isnt there a law that prevents this?
