I first have to say that these two are not a couple! :) Now, with that out of the way, this is my grandfather (Orest Caselli), along with his sister Caterina, in 1914. This was 3 years after he emigrated to America from northern Italy (via Ellis Island). At the time when this photo was taken he was living and working in NYC. He later married, and in 1922 bought a farm in Barnegat, NJ. This is where he met his second wife in 1938 after having been divorced for several years. His second wife was the 11th child of the couple I posted pictures of earlier. Unfortunately his sister Caterina died before I was born. We never knew why. I have posted photos of his farm and farmhouse on this group in the past. It was torn down in 1988.
