I first met peter when i played football for Winders when i was about 11, dont think he played for them but i got left behind n had to wait for my mum,and Peter and someone else waited with me till she got there. Then when i got to Joeys Peter was the year above me, at the first year disco i danced with his GF which led to a altercation in the toilets with him and Blue. Hahaha. So after that we diddnt really talk much but was always in the same circles drinking on the bankings, prescott street and pembroke halls. Then as we got older we used to bump into one another in the bull and stocks, and gradually became friends, i think he lived behind my mum and dad on walkden road (or one of his friends did) so i used to see him a lot. Because of his love of posting pics of brews food and beer i invented a kind of play your cards right game, where we went through his pics guessing what the nxt one would be, the last time i spoke to him face to face me and Russ Speakmen told him about our game and he found it hilarious. Although we was never best m8s he was always a constant in my life from seeing him on my way to Wharton in the morning whilst he was walking to St Andrews in the chippy and shop and even at the Wanderers on the odd time my mam blagged me to go, as i support United. But it was on facebook where i found out we had a lot in common mainly good music and disturbing films, just felt i had to write somthing cause iv never been as upset and shocked by someones death. My heart gos out to Julie and Luke cant imagine what your going through. And Sammy Jane Peacock my friend from the baths as i know you were very close. RIP Peter larger than life charecter. God bless.
