I found a date for Erhard Becks intention of naturalization in the Philadelphia Natualization index. It lists his date of intention as 10-2-1840 at the Quarter Sessions Court. The original intention record is at the Philadelphia City Archives and I assume they may have his petition and naturalization as well. The records may list a birth town in Bavaria, Germany if we are lucky. Has anyone looked at this already? If not, I will send for a copy. I also found burial records for Margaret Becks two siblings, Earhard and Susan. Sadly, they died young. Earhard at age 9 and Susan at age 15. They were buried at the Monument Cemetery at Broad and Berks St in Philadelphia. My mother, Judy, did a little research on the cemetery and it appears that a developer built right on top of the cemetery burying the headstones. Ill post details on the free familysearch.org site for those interested.
