I found a nice fat hen, they are hard to find and have a different flavor than the fryers, anyway I decided to make homemade Chicken and noodles the old German way like my Mother and hers before her use to make them. The hen has been cooked and boned and the broth is seasoned with all the secret spices my Mom use to use the aroma is wonderful. The noodles have been rolled out thin and set to dry, Next they will be cut into thin strips and put in the broth to cook till tender and succulent. Oh Boy we feast tonight!!! Scott Apeshot be sure and have a salad for lunch.
