You can accept it and never improve your plight. Today, we have a different form of slavery, a high tech, monetary, materialistic version. Many of us don’t have chains but are restricted by negative attitudes, bad decisions and defeatism. Accepting the difficulties thrown at us and will not fight to overcome them. Won’t fight them and certainly won’t try to go around them. As said many times before if youre born broke its not your fault, if you die broke its your fault. No matter your situation, make something happen and change for the better.
