I gave a talk tonight at the DesignYatra conference in Goa ...and was asked the question of my first musical memory. I remembered sitting at my fav pizza place , Singhas Famous Pizza in Queens NY when I was 3 (1977 ,when NY was as hard core as it gets) and a car (possibly a Monti Carlo ) pulled up and rolled down the window.....In my memory...the guy in the car looked at me and knodded while Stevie Wonder played on his stereo.......That was the day the universe was revealed to me......2 songs.....Superwoman and Superstitious played as I sat there and soaked in a life time of inspiration..........25 years later....our daughter was born in our house (home birth)....and the very first music that was played was Stevie Wonder........feeling wicked nostalgic tonight........listen to this song and imagine being 3 and this being the beginning of a life of music........magic,,,,,,https://youtube/watch?v=U-ohttPIqco
