I get a call from my job saying because I havent been at work for a week Im being let go. Ive called these B*TCHES everyday since my accident. I explained that I have a concussion and Im not released to return to work yet. They tell me that its not fair to hold my spot because I dont even have a vehicle anymore. WTF??!! Id still have a car if I wasnt running back and forth to work. I did the job of 2 people until I told them I was worn out and they finally hired someone else to help. They told me I did the job better and faster then anyone. I did my job so well they asked me to stay an extra 4 hours past my shift so I could train 4 people for 2 weeks in my first month and 2 more new hires in my second. Ive worked 7 days a week with no breaks for a month and this is the my thanks. My coworkers told me to slow down and that my hard work wouldnt be appreciated. I didnt listen and now I have no car and no job. I can be bitter and say, Ill never give another job my best, but I cant do that. Ill get another car and another job. but I will never let another job burn me out and toss me away.
