I get asked a lot how I constantly stay motivated day in and day out to reach my goals? Truth is, I dont. I have days where I have little motivation to get out if bed at 5:00am an workout. Yes Ive had times of weakness where I cant keep my hands off my kids fries. Ive had moments where I would look in the mirror an not see the muscle I wish I had get so disappointed. On these days, I like to look back at when I started my fitness journey along with all of its ups and downs. I remember why I chose to become healthier in the first place, the progress Ive made, and I remember why every second of it has been worth it. Every time you misstep on your journey, you have two choices: to continue being down and say oh I will start back tomorrow , which will inevitably take you even further away from your goals. Or to accept your lack of perfection as human and forgivable, and instead take two positive steps down the path that will bring you closer to the future that you want. Nobody is perfect and if youre one of the few people who are 100% motivated 100% of the time, then please teach me your ways! Haha. But if youre anything like me, whether youre just getting started and losing hope due to lack of progress, or have been doing this for a while and you have days you just feel burnt out look back at why you started in the first place, dig deep to find that spark of determination again, and keep on going. I promise itll be worth it! 😊
