I get so emotional the night before a Féileacáin event.. Today I was so touched by the generosity of strangers and also the kind words that people had to share with me. Féileacáin is so special to me so I am humbled that, a year after I got our little group established in town, all of these kind men from town have chosen to sacrifice their dignity for the memory of our babies. Not long ago perinatal death was hidden in the shadows and people flinched when someone would mention a deceased baby. I am so proud that the silence is broken, that we can share our stories and memories as though our angels were here and also that people now feel that they are comfortable enough to listen. So roll on tomorrow! I cant wait for the giggles that we are bound to have! Cheers Lynne Gorman for the cake! Youre amazing and everyone who has sponsored.
