I get tagged on Instagram a lot to do poetry challenges. This one was the What Is Love challenge. What is love? Its a feeling that every human being desires In the dead of winter it is the warmth of fires It puts you at ease And it can bring you to your knees It can have you begging please You might even say its a disease And its incurable You have to be physically durable Because not all love is built to last As Im sure most of you are familiar with from looking at your past It is a blessing in disguise As tears flow from your eyes It is the lows, it is the highs It is pain The rainbow that forms after a summer rain It is her name On my lipstick stained...lips For me it will always be my most desirable fix Because its something I will forever remain an addict of What is this thing called love? Its a feeling that can be described yet its unexplainable And I hope that for me one day it will be attainable
