I give thanks to God for who He is, and who He makes us. So many miss out on the provisions of God through Jesus Christ, consumed so much with their own lives, they miss the blessings which only come from Him. Thank you Lord Jesus for doing what no other could do. If you could earn it, if you could do it on your own, if you could add to it, making His better by what you did, there would be no need for Him, and you would be tragically mistaken. These verses rate right up there with Genesis 22:8 KJV And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. 2 Samuel 7:21 KJV For thy words sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them . Isaiah 54:17 KJV No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:29-31 KJV That no flesh should glory in his presence. [30] But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: [31] That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Romans 10:3-4 KJV For they being ignorant of Gods righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto o the righteousness of God. [4] For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. Isaiah 64:6 KJV But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. A man who doesnt believe this will endeavor to leave behind memories of his own righteousness. Philippians 3:3 KJV [3] For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
