I got #8 from Cathy McCown Smith. Here we go! 1) My alma mater is UT Austin. I never realized at the time how liberal Austin was (I didnt pay a lick of attention to political stuff at that time!) Hook em Horns! 2) I bought a house in Allen in April of 2000, thinking I would never meet Mr. Right, that I would be single forever. I met Richard in May, we got engaged in July, married in November (we ran off to Vegas) and sold the house in January 2001! What a whirlwind that was! 3) I tried out for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders 2 years in a row--1999 and 2000. Never made it past the first round either year. :-( 4) I played Marian the Librarian in my high school musical, the Music Man. I actually sang in front of an audience! I cant believe I had the confidence to do that. I could never do anything like that now. Too self-conscious. (Yes, I would like to change that!! I am working on it! Pray for me!) :-) 5) I have always felt kind of out of place and different from everyone else--as a child, around my family growing up, in social circles like school and church. Sometimes I like my uniqueness and other times it bothers me....immensely as a matter of fact. Sometimes I wish I was normal. I know, what is that? Lol! 6) I am a very NON-PICKY eater! Even as a kid, I loved all the stuff that most kids dislike--oysters, liver, spinach, etc. (remember what I said in #5? I am a strange person!!!!!!!) 7) When I was a senior in HS, I wrote to the Rob Lowe fan club and invited Rob Lowe to be my date for the prom! Lol! (see #5 again! Lol!) 8) If I won the lottery and money wasnt a factor, I would write childrens books and stories and attempt to have them published. I even have dreams of writing a novel that becomes a #1 best seller, is then made into a movie and is sold all over the world!!! Hey,why dream at all if you cant dream big??!!!! :-) Enjoy everyone! :-)
