I got a call from a resident who asked me a question that I was quite stomped on. What would of your answer been? Question from resident - I genuinely completely forgot my signing on at the job center yesterday. There are 2 things I can do, 1. Tell my adviser that I forgot and she will definitely sanction my benefits and and family will struggle to eat, will have to be reliant of food banks. 2. Lie, tell me adviser that my grandmother passed away and it was difficult and I couldnt make my signing on. Knowing the outcome of telling the truth and the suffering it will cause my family due to my genuine mistake, what should I do? So, what will your reply be?
