I got a lot of feedback from friends about the Tattoo Competition in this years Bike Rally. Back in January a few of the Higher Ups had asked me to be in charge and Run the Tattoo Competition. It was something I thought real hard about, but it seemed impossible because of the Insane work Schedule that the Rally brings to our Shop. During this last weekend of July, DMC TATTOO CO. Is so busy that we dont even leave the shop!! We have people running for food and what not just so we can do Gladiator Tattooing ALL WEEKEND...... Only going home late at night to sleep.But, after thinking about it more and more, I Realized that Bikers and Tattoos go hand in hand, and the tattoo competition should be just as important as any Other event that the rally provides. So after this weekend I am going to make arrangements for next year, not only to bring more tattooers to accommodate everyone......... But Im going to sit down with a couple of my artist friends as well and get input and throw around ideas. One person I have in mind, is my boy Wovoka Trudell........ He may not be a Tattooer, but he has an artist frame of mind that I can relate to....... And hes been doing this long enough, that I value his opinion........ To be continued..........
