Position: Customer Service Representative / Customer Advocacy Associate Duration: 6+ months - Contract Location: 25600 N. Norterra Dr, Phoenix, AZ – 85085 Working Hours: In between 5am to 6pm (8 hours a day – Mon-Fri) Candidate must be flexible with working hours. Important Notes: 2-4 weeks training (7 am – 4pm) No vacation in next 3-4 months (may lead to termination) Responsibilities Customer Advocacy Associate This production role is responsible for adopting a “one and done” philosophy which means we take ownership for all questions posed by the customer to eliminate the need for call backs. Responsibilities include: · Investigating and resolving complex customer service issues, calls, and complaints for high profile accounts. · Receives requests by telephone, mail, or in person regarding insurance claims/policies. · Responds to inquiries from policy holders, providers and/or others for information and assistance. · Determines best method to resolve problems, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies. · Performs research to respond to inquiries and interprets policy provisions to determine most effective response. · Mails or routes claim forms and supporting documentation to various units for final processing. · Maintains a high level of confidentiality across all interactions. · Monitor workload, attendance, and punctuality. · Establish and maintain professional internal and external customer relationships through verbal and written communication. · Acts as Customer Advocate Skills: · Position typically requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and interpret policy provisions. · Ideal candidates should be comfortable working in a fast paced inbound call environment. · Skills required include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Education: Required: · High School graduate or equivalent required; college degree with equivalent work experience preferred. · 2 – 5 years of customer service experience. · Ability to work collaboratively with others to create a positive customer experience. · Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. · Demonstrated ability to listen and respond effectively to customers with complex service issues. · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Commitment to meeting expectations of customers. Desired: · One year of experience in a Customer Advocacy environment a plus. · Licensed in Health, Life, and Accident Insurance with the State of Arizona a plus. · Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
