I got some bad news just now. I am being laid off from my wonderful position at Rural Cap Weatherization; a non profit that does free weatherization for low to moderate income families. I have been a Customer Service Specialist since April of 2011. Recently their funding was cut 50% and this was due to a reduction in work force and I was not the only one. Of course I am profoundly sad, but I welcome this time to spend some extra time at home getting things back to normal and spending more time with the girls since Dad died. Say a prayer for us, but please be happy for me too. This door has closed. But others will open for sure!
