I got tagged in a couple of these so guess its time I listed my 10 things. (One was 8 and one was 14) 1 - I grew up in Lodi, Wisconsin and my nickname on the school bus when I was little was Carole, Carole, Water Barrel (Tracy Bail Maher) 2 - It takes a True Blue Friend to let you ride their best ever horse when yours is hurt - Shelly Christensen. 3 - I believe 100% in Paying It Forward !! What goes around truly does come around. (And I sob from start to finish when I watch that movie with Helen Hunt and Kevin Spacey) 4 - Jerry Golliher told me 21 years ago that people will not remember what you won but what kind of person you were. I didnt believe him then - now Ive learned that is true. Im still trying to be a better person :) 5 - I played saxophone in a jazz band in high school. I also entered the Jr Miss Pageant but they wouldnt let me show movies of my horses and rodeos so I had to sing - - I got 2nd runner-up - - - there were 3 of us in contest :( 6 - I LOVE horses and will always have some. Even if I didnt compete, I would have horses. For my whole life, they have listened to all my secrets. 7 - I want to call my kids every day but try not to so they dont think Im infringing on their lives. 8 - Because of Les Hollers, I have SO much. He helped my dreams come true. I wouldnt have Logan, or Jeff, or Jana. Thank you Les!! And Larry and Jan Hollers. I still miss him. 9 - I love teaching kids to rope. I think its seeing them get excited and enthused more than anything. 10 - Jeff Jasper is the most tolerant person I know !!! :) :) Love Him !!
