I got to put down a bald cap all by myself yesterday! Ive assisted on a latex bald cap once before, but this was my first time doing it solo and doing it in plastic. Im super stoked with how it turned out. There are definitely areas that need improvement: the bald cap was too big so the back of the head, for a while, looked like a ball sack, but I hid it with a scarf :P and the hair ridges are still visible in certain lighting. I used gafquat thinned with water (50/50 mix) to hold the hair down, and a Frends Beauty plastic bald cap (which blended out with acetone). She had long, thick hair, so I tied it into a low pony and tucked it under the scarf and into her shirt. Thanks to my wonderful friends who helped me with tips and information (especially Thomas Surprenant and Eliza Campana).
