I got trapped into this 10 Things You May Not Know About Me, thanks to Joyce Rogers Layow, so blame her. LOL 1. Some of you may know that I write The Wine Raconteur. I enjoy fine wine, great food, and good friends. Though I avoid food dishes from the Orient. 2. I try to avoid drama. I actually read all the postings that I see, and there are a lot of them these days, and I very seldom share a posting, but I will like a posting. I really enjoy some of the inspirational ones, but I dislike ones that are derogatory. 3. I have not watched television for close to thirty years, and I do not miss it. I prefer reading and enjoy the feel of a book in my hands. 4. I think I have a sly sense of humor. 5. I enjoy Classic Movies and my brain is filled with useless trivia and dialogue from these movies. I sometimes think that I was born in the wrong decade. 6. I learned how to dress from The Rat Pack and from my Father and the crowd on Vernor Highway back in the day, when dressing was the ultimate. In fact the music of that era, is still what I prefer to listen to, even today. 7. I am surprised, but so many people tell me that I am a great listener, and that I can ask the right question to enable them to self discover. I am very loyal to my friends and our conversations are never disclosed to anyone else. 8. I still go to the same hair stylist, that I went to in Junior High for a style, manicure and shoe shine all at the same time. Of course I had a lot more hair back then. 9. I find laundry and ironing to be very relaxing, especially when I put a great movie on. I am very OCD about it, and my closets all look like store displays with everything perfectly arranged. 10. Next year, I look forward to having an eighth grandchild.
