I grew up breathing in film – I was forever lost in the imaginative notions of love and adventure. As I got older, I started to write, and became the voice behind elaborate tales, no matter how true or how embellished. I fell in love with putting pen to paper, bringing my thoughts to life, if only temporarily to the bystanding eyes and minds of others. People ask why I disappeared for four years to rural New York. For me, it was my opening scene – my adventure, my story to live and my story to tell. That adventure molded me in ways I’ve yet to still fully come to understand and appreciate. It brought laughter, tears, pain and joy. It brought me here. Three years later, I’ve yet to tell my story. I’ve yet to live my passion – to forever bring others to become lost in imaginative notions of love and adventure. I’m deathly afraid of failure, and deep down, I know fear is the shackle holding me from flight. Life is so often a blur of uncertainty, and then all at once, an illuminating guidance comes dancing through the dark. I’ve never been one to say no to a dance. HBO’s Project Greenlight, let’s dance.
