I groomed a Shih Tzu today. Thats not unique, its actually unique that I groomed only one Shih Tzu today. Shes 9 months old, and mommy wanted a full shave down. There, that is your context. Anyway, the fun part came fairly late into the groom where I noticed that, being young, this pup had a LOT of extra skin to grow into. I amused myself for ten full minutes jiggling this poor babys fat rolls! She felt like a velvet, half-filled water balloon! I even let my co-workers share in on this bit of pure joy. I tried to get my manager in on it, but she got busy and didnt get into the salon until the pup had gone home. NOTE: The doggie adored the attention, I promise. She wont require therapy. LOL SECOND NOTE: Im deeply sorry to all my grooming clients out there who were somehow still under the impression that I was a fairly normal person.
