I guess I can say I feel blessed. The story goes like this. Be get this used fifth wheel RV, did a bunch of interior repairs, looks great, hot water, lights etc.. So whats a trailer with out checking the mechanical. So Kurt and I install new brakes, seals and caps, bearings were good, so new grease and we are done. Light and everything is good, even the tires, lots of tread. Wednesday night, Chilliwack, breaks not working on trailer, Thursday morning fix in Lordco parking lot in Chilliwack. 5 min. before Hope we blow a trailer tire, literally blew to smithereens. Install spare on road side, then get tire fixed at Kal Tire Hope. Back on the road again, 10 min on the Coquahala, bang, blew a turbo hose, u-turn and to Lordco in Hope after bandaging the hose with tuck tape and electrical tape, it barely holds, but whistles very loud like blowing on a blade of grass held between hands, people gaucking at us like we come from outer space. Lordco has all the parts, put back together on side of road, downtown Hope. 15 min before Kamloops, Bang. Now what. Yup, another tire,it spare on again and head to Kal Tire Kamloops. They had a tire and off again. There is nothing else to tell you about the trip, but first I need to tell you that Kal Tire was phenomenal, excellent service, happy, caring and professional. I will phone head office and compliment them when I get home. Now if you are not sick of my story yet, picture this, Greta did most of the tire changing with me standing and watching her, boy I must have looked like a real a$$ to the people driving by, I felt like an idiot, I did help out best I could. In Lumby now, laying down.
