I guess I can say it on FB now....drumroll...after 2 years and almost 8 months of (not so patiently) waiting...my clinical trial is finally reactivated! It is great timing because my blood sugars have a reached the point of being very frustrating and hard to predict again, indicating my first transplant is no longer helping me much, if at all. I will go to COH soon to sign consent for a new (and improved) protocol, do evaluations to determine that Im still eligible (I better be!) and then should be reactivated on the list to await an organ. Im hoping to be reactivated by late November. Hoping for a miracle at Christmas!! WOOHOO!
