I guess I could never have a daily blog....I am not consistent enough..... Oh well...heres day 5 of my 3 things I am grateful for. 1). As someone pointed out ...Terry was not on day 1 of my grateful list....oops! After 39 years of marriage, I guess I just take him for granted, like an old shoe, comfortable. Im Grateful to have him as the love of my life. Even though we dont always agree, theres comfort in our argumentative banter. 2). Grateful for the love of music....Terry plays the guitar and we sing....together, around campfires, at parties, just for fun! Music is comforting and fun, even when we are playing cards, we have music playing in the background and its like trivia...whos that singing or what band is that? Music has always been a big part of our life and I see all three of our sons have inherited our love of music! 3). Celebrations....grateful for reasons to celebrate. Our son, and his fiancé Lana are getting married soon! There will be a gathering of friends and family from far and near. A wonderful time to celebrate the start of their married life together, and Im looking forward to seeing many friends and family members all gathered in one place albeit for a short time. As one of Terrys cousins once said at a funeral lets not just gather for these sad occasions. So, we went on holiday shortly after that, 19 McIntyre cousins in Punta Cana.....lets just say, that hotel was never the same after we were there! Never a dull moment.
