I guess its time for an update. Well my voice is coming back and my throat still feels like broken glass. Just smaller pieces than last week. I am getting tired of this feeding tube on my stomach but hey it has drastically slowed my weight loss. I am down to about 260 lbs now, lightest I have been since I married Connie. My taste buds are coming back and things are starting to have a flavor other than chalk. I have lost a lot of muscle mass along with a little bit of fat during all this so I see a long road to get my shoulders and chest back. Next week I will speak with the YMCA about the cancer survivors program so I can get back to working out and rebuilding the parts I lost that I like and maybe losing some more of this fat. I am hoping the recovery speeds up so I can get my butt back to work as I am going stir crazy here at the house. I cant go out for long right now and carrying on a conversation is still out of the question. Too much talking leads to me getting sick from over production of saliva. Dr says most people stop or drastically slow saliva production during all this but not me. I of course have to be the odd ball and overproduce. All in all I am feeling much better. I may not be 100% for quite a while but I am a lot better than I was 4 months ago and 4 weeks ago.
