I guess most of us have heard the aircraft contrails conspiracy theory, put about by Republican nut-cases, that these contrails are poisonous, and the USA government is deliberately poisoning its own citizens. I scoffed; all sane people scoffed. But hey, when those Republicans get power again, better stop the scoff. Sounds like their conspiracy theory was merely a softening-up process, to get Americans inured to the idea.
