I had a amazing time in Vegas with my family (13,000+). What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas for most but not for me. I had a freak accident about 10:30pm Sunday night. I am blessed beyond measure to have Tiffany Chappell come sit with me and kept my mind occupied to help me deal with the excrutiating pain. Her whole family stood there waiting instead of going and having fun at the After Party - that my friends is true family. The hotel/casino paramedics were awesome in keeping pain under control until the ambulance got there to transport me to as they quoted the best trauma hospital on the north side of the strip Sunrise Medical Center. I begged them to help me get in and out since I had a 6:30am shuttle to catch my flight home. Once inside I begged the RN & MD about my shuttle/flight and I can tell you that they earned their name Sunrise. From start to finish everyone was exceptional and I could not have gotten any better care anywhere else. They stabilized me and got me checked out around 2:30am Monday. I am blessed beyond measure for my travel friend C Renee Smith who stayed with me the whole time and took excellent care of me along with dealing with me the entire trip. Luv ya sister :) Southwest Airlines pre-boarded us so we got front row seating. Tomorrow I have a consultation with the surgeon so will know more then. With all that I have been through and the long healing road ahead .... I am a # WINNER :)
