I had a bunch of fun and learned a lot recording this EP for This - TopicsExpress

I had a bunch of fun and learned a lot recording this EP for This Is Death Valley. Luckily I had an awesome partner in this whole experience, Dan East. This was my first experience recording music of this genre, and my first experience recording music that was not written by me. I had never planned to be a part of this project, but after seeing my friends get screwed over countless times, by other producers, I felt the need to help in any way I could. So that ended up turning into Dan and I recording this EP. I produced this EP strictly to help my friends out. There is a lot of greed and deception in the music industry, and that is why a lot of bands fall apart. When I saw my friends stressed and upset with the way things were going, I decided that I would do whatever I could to help them. This EP, in the end, didnt cost these guys a fortune to record. It took a lot of dedication, time, and patience. They worked extremely hard on every aspect and I respect them for that. I am very hard on myself sometimes about the things I do, and I tend to be my own worst critic. This was something I wanted to do to help my friends and to challenge myself at something I had never done before. This may be the only album I ever record for another band, or not, I have no clue what the future holds. But it has sparked the flame in me again and I am super inspired to finish the new SWYD record and my own record I have been working on for some time now. Thanks for all the support, to anyone that ever pushed me!
