I had a busy but extraordinary day. Firstly, I did me good deeds, then to the Toy Museum and food shopping. I had a call from my hubby; would I pick him up from the seafront where he told me he needed to go to the big Asda. I was full of the why question which irritated him no end. Having already done the shops, I felt yet another visit to a supermarket was too boring...... how wrong was I? Very! He grabbed a big trolley.... like my dog I followed him... he went down to the DVD and TV aisle. I want to buy you this 40 flat screen TV! I looked stunned - Why? Irritating isnt it? The old cathode ray tube my late mum had for her last 15 odd years worked perfectly and having been someone to be late in getting all new technologies and as it wasnt broken, I couldnt see the point of replacing it. How ungrateful! Still stunned and somewhat shaking with emotion, he paid for and I had got him 15 free range eggs and a few beers for myself and we came home to get the new machine up and running. We did, until we discovered the box had been opened and there was no remote control.................................................... back in the box and return the TV to Asda. They did not have any of the same model so he upgraded it to the smart version and now as you can see I am fully replete with this extraordinary machine! As I report this I am still gob smacked, grateful and love this man and my dog. I am one very lucky old Queen darlings. XXXXXX
