I had a conversation today with mike wenta one of our county council members and learned about the proposed deal to bring wind turbines/wind energy to fayette county...they seeked us out even knowing about the drug problem we r facing in our community.they want to invest in our community, the other positives they will bring jobs, pave the way for more jobs and dump 20 million dollars in the next 30 years into our taxes which will help us pay our debts, it is green energy. yes they are big and can be noisy and there will be a tax abatement. .so sounds like a win win right well u would think so but 4 county council members opposed it and it is up for revote...my mind is blown !!our council members wanna talk about speed bumps and elevators in the annex, making parking places or cleaning up a sidewalk...It is time to start making real changes in our community to tackle the big issues you can pretend all day long in ur big house on the hill that we dont have a drug issue ..Wake up!!! it has affected our whole community and it will take a whole community to fix it we can run away from the problem or we can run towards the problem! !! It is time to think outside the box and work on the betterment of connersville cause obviously what we have been doing isnt working!!!!let our voices be heard it is time!!!!!!
