I had a designated driver drive me home last night. As were driving home a cop pulls us over. (my stomach sinks because my car uninspected and not registered (no money. Single mom problems) so I know im about to get a ticket. He says he was just stopping us because of my high beams. I said im sorry officer this is my designated driver and not familiar with my car and just so you know my car is not registered or inspected as well, so sorry. (with a face of please have mercy on me.) He goes ok ill be right back with you guys. After hes done he comes back to the window and says You made a right choice tonight by having a designated driver, be safe and just get your car taken care of when you can. And with a smile he sent us on our way. Honestly I think he chose not to give me a ticket for making a smart choice and having a designated driver. Im so thankful that he appreciated that and did have mercy on me. :) Thank you Mr. Officer whoever you are for not ticketing me. I appreciate it more than you know. :) #GOPOPO
