I had a disagreement/argument with a friend last night and today about salvation and losing your salvation, all stemming from the Robin Williams suicide. He believes that you can lose your salvation, and I respectfully disagree. I believe what my Bible says that once you claim the blood of Jesus and Him as your Lord and Savior, the debt is paid once and for all...I cannot change my friends mind and he will never change mine, we just disagree...but as we talked back and forth it turned from a discussion to an argument with people taking sides and appearing to bash the other side, this really bothers me...I am no saint, I am no preacher, and Lord knows I dont deserve my family, friends, and all the blessings He has given me, I ride a Harley, have tattoos, smoke cigarettes, drink a beer occasionally and hang out with bikers, and fighters,and listen to Hank Jr and Kid Rock...I have a tattoo on my back that says American Badass and please believe that Ive got the scars and scrapes to earn that name and I will back it up when anybody or anything tries to hurt my family and friends...and I also have a tattoo on my arm that says OUTLAW CRUSADER, and I will stand and fight to defend my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because he came and suffered and died for me and all of us...I know I dont look or talk or act like the stereotype Christian and Im ok with that, in fact Im proud of that, because I know there are a lot more out there just like me, that although we are not perfect by a long shot we love our Lord Jesus and are passionate in our beliefs just as much as those who look down on us for being different than them....only Jesus knows our hearts and only He will stand up for us in front of God one day and say yeah, this one might be a little rough around the edges but he is one of mine.....Just like my boy Brantley Gilbert says what you see is what you get...I hope that when you look at me you know its as real as it gets...I may not be much but Im enough for Jesus and thats enough for me....God bless you all
