I had a doctors appointment this morning, so I had to alter my route. I had a short section of Immokalee Rd to travel on. The right lane is quite wide, maybe 12-14 feet. Your first instinct is to stay over to the right side of it. But, there are plenty of large trucks that travel that lane, and there is not enough room for them to leave you the required 3 feet and still stay in the lane. I am conspicuous and predictable in my lane with my position. Every motorist is able to see me from quite a distance and begin their lane change early and without delay. This is an average trip on a major arterial for me. No problems what so ever.
