I had a fun trip this morning. I spent most of the night, not breathing, nose running, coughing, all the fun stuff severe allergies bring this time of year. AND I was out of allergy meds. It was to cold to go to Walgreens last night so I waited until this morning. I just threw on a house dress, one that you can go out in, slipped on shoes, pulled back hair, heavy fleece coat...I didnt care. I needed meds!!! So off I go in my, Walmart approved, homeless lady from the outer limits outfit and headed to Walgreens. I figured no one could see me under the hood of the darkness still covering the outside. Went in, ordered my Allegra D. THEN no drivers license.....oh shoot. Then I remember after ram-sacking my purse multiple times, I made copies at kinkos and left it on the copy machine on Friday. The pharmacist was telling me to take my time. Time was something I was not tolerating well at the moment. I could tell how good I was looking because the man behind me looked a little scared. The pharmacist was nice. He was probably used to having desperate people begging for cold meds. He couldnt sell me what I needed, thanks crack heads, but he gave me something close. When I got in the car, I called Kinkos, sure enough they had my license. It was still dark so my homeless lady look combined with my I dont give a damn attitude was still in tact. Off I go to Kinkos. Got my license. Made it home before the sun came up.
