I had a great thanksgiving, though I have reservations about the holiday for the obvious reasons. I do however like the idea of taking time to be appreciative of the people in your life as well as all the other things. I think that the feelings of good will and concern for others should just be the norm instead of dusting it off for one season in an entire year. I love my family, I like getting together and just being together. Not everyone at my house tonight was a blood relative. and yet I think of them as a part of my family all the same. Sorry to get a little (a lot?) mushy here, but Im not ashamed to say I love you and that goes for my online support system of face book friends and family. Being ill, has given me some perspective about my life and attitudes that I dont think I had before I got sick. I realize that sharing feelings, and making yourself vulnerable to getting hurt in the process is a part of being human. No woman is an island, I might be doing a little rambling in my thought process in a late night attempt to express myself.... Hugs to all of you.Thank you for being in my life. these are just a few quick snaps of dinner.
