I had a long, fun, busy weekend. I opened some very belated Christmas presents, laughed with family, visited dear friends, loved on Peyton, got a hair cut, and ate La Pop. It was wonderful, but beyond exhausting. More than once I found myself talking with my eyes half open and my head nodding like a heroine addict because of low oxygen flow- even with my o2 turned up. Stuff is getting hard, yall, and its not fun. Five minutes into the drive back to Austin, after my body had settled down and my mind realized I wasnt rushing to meet the next person, I started to weep. I finally started to feel the pain I kept myself too busy from noticing. My body is trying to shut down, and well, we just cant have that. From this point on my traveling will have to be very limited. Peytons birthday is mid-February and Ill of course come for that, but beyond that my visits to Abilene will be much less frequent. I love you all and I love seeing you all, and I feel so loved when I cant keep up with the demand for my presence. Please come see me in Austin!
