I had a nightmare last night that shot me out of a deep sleep. I have them once in a while. I have PTSD from Nam. I despise chickenhawks who proclaim theyre patriots but never go off to fight the wars they support. I despise chickenhawks who say theyre willing to die to take back their country from duly elected, legally elected administrations. I want to put something on a graphic, but my graphics computer is down right now, and since my computer guy cant get in to fix it (14 inches of snow in mid April?), it will not be any time soon. So....w/o the graphics, here it is: I am a pacifist. I am a pacifist who has fought in two wars. I am a pacifist who has killed hundreds of human beings. If you attack me or my family, I will not hesitate to cut you down. If you attack my country, I will not hesitate to take up arms. But I refuse to support another of America’s “elective wars.” I will have no part in the torture and slaughter of innocent people. I am not a terrorist.
