I had a vision. If youve ever had one you know what it is. I was in a dream state, the dream kept going; to my right a portal opened (while the dream, nonsensical, kept going). Through the portal I saw a path into a beautiful forest. The trees were in color, the sun was shining, the breeze brought the breath of Autumn (not DEATH, the promise of re-birth), and at the end of this long path there was a turn to the left. At that turn a light glowed. Then, my eyes opened (in the real world). Today I stepped out at 8AM with my dog. I live where the mountains (Catskill) and the river (Hudson) meet. Around me was the sort of fog that comes off a large body of water when a weather front moves in. I could hear the geese, I could hear each individual voice like an instrument in an orchestra, heading toward the river to rest as they journey. I didnt have to see them. I want to fly. I have recently (in the last 6 months) began riding lessons (finally with the right trainer). Get on a horse when you have some sense of your seat, close your eyes (you must trust the horse), and fly. Everything goes away, magically. Your sorrow, your fear, all of the things not intended for you to feel by God whose mercy is infinite. Close your eyes. Ride. Fly. Tomorrow morning go out and look up. Listen and watch. The Creation speaks for Him (as we call the Creator), it literally shouts. Step out in faith.
