I had an 8 am appointment with my Eye Surgeon this morning. I had been working on not freaking out over the past several weeks as my vision began playing tricks on me. I got new transitional Tri-focals about a month ago and although they made a big difference I found that something wasnt quite right. The good news is, my vision is great and Ive been over using the gift of sight. Even our eyes need rest. Working in real estate involves a lot of vision related tasks, so does being a visual artist, so does being an avid reader and a compulsive writer. The lesson; take care of your eyes, of your everything, and if you can see, isnt that enough to be grateful for? I was close enough to being unable to see to really appreciate the gift of donor corneas. Be an organ donor. Appreciate and celebrate your ability to see. And, take a freakin break once in a while.
