Today has been a great day to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. We were so young 48 years ago when we were married in the Salt Lake Temple. We knew little of life except that we loved each other and knew we wanted to spend our lives together building a family and serving the Lord. Today was also our grandsons 12th birthday and the day he was ordained. His brother, our 36th grandchild, was born just 3 days ago. Does it get any better than spending our day participating with our family in special events? In our years together Steve and I have had our share of heartache but we consider ourselves well blest to be the parents of 10 amazing children each of whom have amazing spouses who together have blessed our lives with 36 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. And our family is growing with another grandchild and 2 more great grandchildren in the near future. We look forward to the spending the rest of our lives together, associating with our beloved family and doing our best to serve the Lord. We take comfort in the knowledge that when our time on earth is over we can continue our wonderful association throughout Eternity because of the blessings and covenants made available to us through the Temple of our God. We are grateful for each other, for our children and their families and for the Gospel of Jesus Christ .
