I had an Awesome Weekend and I hope you did too. Friday I Congratulated the Newlyweds Dan Dryden and Wendy Dryden because I really hadnt gotten to see them since they Got Hitched or since I got back in town. Bumped into Derek S Abrams and his lovely wife because hes been drumming for My Famous Friends since Mark Puders absence. I hadnt seen Derek Since he played on bit.ly/WhiskeyTalkin and bit.ly/Rh0nda for me before I left for ATX. Then The New Black 7 took the stage. I havent Seen Tory Since The Black Mollys played Pickle Park and although I now own every EP and album hes put out in both projects, Id never been able to see The New Black Seven live. They were awesome and kudos to My Famous Friend Dan Dryden for landing the bass chair. I totally dig their music but the live show also included dueling guitars in a cover of The Charlie Daniels Band Devil Went Down to Georgia with a snippet of Panteras Cowboys From Hell when the band of Demons joined in. To put the icing on the cake it was date night. Frickin Awesome!!! Saturday Morning Coffee Jams on Sianet Radio started the morning. Duty Calls and I couldnt attend the GooDBarS show at the Amsterdam Bar and Hall with the Veteran Ambassadors of MN Metal Impaler but I did wear my custom GooDBarS work shirt to my gig and was happy to talk to Andy at The Annandale Roadhouse who asked if I was in that group too. Id like to thank the party bus of nameless gals that rocked with us on the dance floor. It was a blast feel free to tag yourselves if youd like but its hard to dance, drink and hold a meaningful conversation at the same time. Im truly blessed to live this life. Ive never wanted to do anything else but sing, play some guitar, have a few beers and make some memories not only for myself but the people around me. Mission Accomplished
